'Social Ecosystem' is a collaborative piece, created alongside Nicole Holbrook and Mollie Donegan, as part of the 'Making Space' woodwork project.

The table and chairs aim to address the impact of modern life on social structures and community. The table embraces togetherness, rest and social interdependence, and the importance of having company in our everyday lives.

Our table depends on its chairs, and builds from the ground up like an ecosystem. The three chairs meet at the base and lock into the table, creating a space committed to social connection. Everyone sits, or no one sits. Without all three people coming together, the table topples.
